Day 2 - The Lakeshore

Take a drive and experience the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Pick up a trail map at the US Park Service. 400 E. Munising Ave., 906-387-2512
Bike along the Anna River. Never have you seen such vivid reds, pinks or purples. The poplar trees are golden and make a beautiful rushing sound as you pass them by.
Head to the heart of downtown Munising and visit locally owned Putvin's Drug Store. They have all of your camera needs. 119 Elm Street, 906-387-2248

Day 3 - Grand Island
Wake up before any one else listen for the loons as you sift through the new assortment of rocks and agates washed up along the shore.
Visit to the Munising Bakery for a stiff cup of coffee and a delicious home made breakfast or doughnut. 115 W. Superior Street, 906-387-2148
Head on over to Grand Island via the Grand Island Ferry service. Grand Island is the home of two unique Lighthouses. Grand Island Landing, 906-387-3503
Dive down to the see the shipwrecks in the Alger Preserve. Get close to any of the three ships whose journeys were cut short by the mighty Lake Superior.

The afternoon should be spent visiting all of Munising's lovely Antique, Craft or Gift Shops.
